Wow! Where did that time go? The response to our Festival has been amazing and things are fast moving towards completion.

We have over forty individual artists, artist groups and performance groups taking part in this exciting event. There will be exhibitions of work by artists from all of our Twin Towns. Also on show from the local community will be everything from watercolours and acrylics, sculptures, glass, embroidery, quilting, creative writing, through to the Hunts Youth Theatre, Shakespeare at the George, Hunts Drama Club, Malcolm Talbot with a ‘History of Swing’, the Hunts Music School, local dance groups and a special Festival exhibition of paintings from Huntingdon & Godmanchester Schools! A full programme of events together with details of performance times, will be published here from the end of February. There’s something for everyone and it’s all completely FREE.

Look out for the amazing Yarnbomb of both towns that will show everyone where the exhibits are. See if you can spot some of the first shop window displays that will be going up in the build up to the Festival week-end. Spring will arrive with an explosion of colour when the main display appears! There’s still time to get involved with knitting and help with the installation. Interested? Contact Liz via or call on 07972 281579.

We are also still seeking sponsors and people for our teams covering installation, removal and stewardship of events. If you’d like to be an ambassador for this amazing project, contact David via or call him on 07546 528274.

Venues include Huntingdon Town Hall, Godmanchester Queen Elizabeth School, All Saint’s Church, Huntingdon, Huntingdon Library, Saxongate, the Bridge and George hotels, Huntingdon Commemoration Hall and the Comrades Club, Godmanchester. Also watch out for the workshop trail in both towns!

More facts and details will be appearing on our Facebook page and in the local press between now and April. So, when Christmas is over, don’t let the January blues get you down, April 6th & 7th will soon be here!

Happy New Year!
